AWS cloud migration and management, without the surprises

Move servers, databases and applications to Amazon Web Services with a clear plan and a tested rollback, then keep them secure, backed up and right-sized.

AWS services

  • Migration assessments: what to move, what to rebuild and what to retire
  • Server and application migrations to EC2, containers or managed services
  • Database migrations to Amazon RDS with replication and cutover planning
  • Secure account setup: multi-account structure, IAM, MFA and logging
  • Infrastructure as code, so environments are repeatable and documented
  • Backups, monitoring and alerting with AWS Backup and CloudWatch
  • Cost reviews, right-sizing and savings plans for existing AWS spend
  • Hybrid connectivity that keeps the right workloads on-site

How a migration runs

  1. Discovery: inventory servers, data, applications and dependencies
  2. Plan: target architecture, cost estimate, cutover timeline and rollback
  3. Foundation: a secure AWS account structure, built as code
  4. Migrate: move a pilot workload first, then the rest in planned waves
  5. Optimize: tune performance and cost once real usage data is in

What you get

  • Scale when you need to

Capacity that grows with demand instead of hardware refreshes.

  • Costs under control

Right-sized instances, budgets and alerts, and no idle resources.

  • Less hardware to babysit

Fewer servers to patch, replace and keep powered on-site.

  • Secure from day one

Least-privilege access, encryption and logging set up properly.

FAQ

AWS Cloud Migration: common questions

Is AWS cheaper than running our own servers?

Not always. AWS trades hardware purchases for a monthly bill, and it pays off most when you need flexibility, reliability or less hardware to maintain. We model both options, including running costs after migration, before recommending a move.

Do we have to move everything at once?

No. Most migrations run in waves, starting with a low-risk pilot. Some workloads are better left on-site, and a hybrid setup is often the right answer for small businesses.

Can you take over an AWS account someone else set up?

Yes. We start with a review of security, backups and spend, fix anything urgent, then document the setup so it no longer depends on one person.
