Plinth Systems is a Tennessee-based IT services and consulting firm that modernizes and maintains technology for small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. We favor durable systems over quick fixes.
Why “Plinth”?
A plinth is the base a column stands on. It isn’t the part people notice, but everything above depends on it.
That’s how we think about IT. The work that matters most is the foundation: networks, identity, backups, security and the software holding processes together. It should be designed carefully, written down and built to last, so the business on top of it can grow without worrying about it.
Where we come from
Plinth Systems is founder-led, with a background in building and maintaining software and systems for U.S. government and Department of Energy–adjacent programs, where reliability, security and documentation aren’t optional.
We bring that same discipline to businesses of every size, without the bureaucracy. We’re based in Tennessee and work remotely with clients across the United States.
